What's been going on?!?!

WOW! It's hard to believe i have neglected updating this blog for a couple weeks. Let's just say i am not a "Blogger" but i am trying and that is what counts:) I will try to update more frequently going forward.

Since i last posted Jon and I celebrated our first anniversary. It's surreal at how quickly our first year went by. Now i know there is still one thing i need to get taken care of.... our pictures! Yes they were included in our photographer package but i am having a hard time deciding WHICH ones to pick. This is my goal for this weekend!

Jon is gearing up for hunting season and since bow hunting started a few weeks ago he is itching to get out into the woods. And i am hoping for some jerky!!

As for myself i am finally back on my "schedule" THANK GOODNESS!!! - For the past two months my sleep schedule has been way out of whack. Spending hours up during the night left me exhausted when my normal 5 am alarm went off and this meant not being able to hit the gym first thing in the morning:( But since i started at Midwest Toyota (yes this is my new job) i have been able to adjust back to my schedule!

Well i am off to enjoy my Wednesday off! Happy Hump Day!!!

Sunday Funday

Well Saturday night was a blast! And the Apple wine was very good but very sweet. I am not so sure i would buy it again but it was worth the try. Like i mentioned we truly enjoy the company of Tony and Crystal and their two boys. We stayed and chatted around the camp fire until close to midnight! {Late for us married folks ;) }
Sunday was an early morning for us. We met Steve and Nancy (Jon's parents) @ Sloopy's for breakfast then it was to the store to do some picture hanging/sprucing up. Jon's family owns a local jewelry store- Rose Jewelers. You can check out their website @ www.rosejewelerslax.com. It is the oldest business here in La Crosse! We hung some pictures and then Nancy and I did a little rearranging of some shelves. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. Jon watched the Packer game and I went shopping!

The LAST Saturday

HAHA! Just thought of this today as i am enjoying this beautiful Saturday... This will be my last Saturday of not working. For the past 2 years i have had a pretty sweet work schedule that consisted of Monday thru Friday 9-6, and starting Thursday that will all be changing. This change was not by choice-- Let me fill everyone in. I started working with Wells Fargo Financial in August 2008 and i loved it! The job came with a lot of challenges but also a lot of rewards. I received 3 promotions and most recently had been promoted to Branch Manager. In July the company announced it was closing in 60 days and on September 9 i finished my LAST day at the office:( During the last 60 days much of my time has been spent worrying about what i would/should do?!?! I mean, i LOVED what i was doing and was good at it and the pay was pretty darn good :) Luckily i have a strong support system between my wonderful hubby Jon and my family and that helped me get through that very difficult time and now i will be starting with my new company on Thursday! SO EXCITED about this new position and can't wait to tell all of you where it's at, but for now it's a secret!!

To celebrate this LAST Saturday Jon and I are heading to our good friend's Tony and Crystal's house tonight! We love getting together with them whenever we can. The plan for tonight is to have dinner and then enjoy time by the fire after they put their boys to bed. Also can't wait to try this new wine i got to take over, Apple wine!!! I hope it's good:)
